The under wires have never cut into me, the smoothing cups give just enough padding for no show-through. I live on the coast where it gets very humid and I have to say I can wear this bra outside and it still breaths. This bra really does smooth the sides for those nice fitted shirts. It holds and supports to keep things in place with its adjustable straps and structured design. I plan to buy several more of these bras. It is so hard to find a bra that really works this well. Now I have found THE ONE! Best wishes.
