CW-X Women's Ventilator Support Running Bra Review

I am currently deployed to Iraq. I would have returned these $50 (qty two that I purchased) if I had a means to do so. They are horrible. I bought the bras to run in here in Iraq. This is a place where the male/female ratio is off the charts so one doesn't want to do anything to draw attention to themselves. I wanted a great support bra that was going to keep be from bouncing all over the place. I am a 36C---not small, not huge and these bras were worse than my worn out bras that I wear under my uniform. Like I said I would like to return them but I don't have the means to do so. Additionally, the support system used is visible thru outter garmets so you look lumpy and bumpy. I would not buy this bra ever again and I would caution consumers not to buy it with out trying it on. I hate to even give this product one star. It shouldn't have any.

About Healtha+
Healtha+ is a multifunctional, lightweight, quick-dry fabric developed by Ventex. Nanotechnology has been used in the development of Healtha+, which consists of 90 percent polyester and 10 percent spandex yarns. This combination provides a comfortable fit and freedom of movement, as well as quick-dry moisture wicking capabilities. The six-channel shape of Healtha+ fibers results in a capillary action pulling the sweat away from the skin's surface to the exterior of the fabric. Healtha+ yarn's wide surface area is also an intrinsic advantage over regular fibers. A wider surface area allows for greater moisture evaporation. This makes Healtha+ one of the fastest-drying textiles available.Healtha+ is also antibacterial and odorless through the application of silver dioxide fiber technology, preserving garment freshness. Integrated titanium oxide fiber technology protects against ultraviolet rays, providing UPF 50+.

About CW-X Gear Technology
For 40 years, scientists at Wacoal Human Science Research Center in Kyoto, Japan, have studied kinesiology, the science of human movement. They have tested over 35,000 people and analyzed injuries relative to warm-up and cool-down periods. They have come to understand the mechanics of joints and muscles in minute detail. This exhaustive study of body movement has culminated in over 50 patents worldwide.Below are some further studies demonstrating the performance-enhancing qualities of CW-X Conditioning Wear.Human Science Research Center, Kyoto, Japan: Study of electrical pulse activity in muscles
Muscles firing into motion were measured electromyographically for subjects wearing CW-X gear, subjects wearing competitor products, and subjects with bare legs. Electrical pulse activity decreased in unsupported and partly supported legs during exercise, indicative of fatigue. Legs supported by CW-X showed a negligible decrease in electrical pulse activity.

Human Science Research Center, Kyoto, Japan: Study of stability, impact, and motion
In this study, high-speed video analysis was used to compare stability, impact, and motion in CW-X products and regular compression gear. CW-X Support Web tights were 10 percent more stable and balanced and absorbed 12 percent more shock to the knee than regular compression tights. CW-X Support Web tops allowed 9 percent greater range of motion for the arm than regular compression tops.

University of Montpelier, France: Study of VO2 oxygen uptake levels
This study measured VO2 oxygen uptake levels over the course of 15 minutes of running in CW-X gear, regular compression tights, and running shorts. CW-X Support Web tights showed 26 percent less oxygen use than regular compression tights and 36 percent less oxygen use than traditional running shorts, indicating lower energy expenditure.About CW-X

CW-X Women's Lite Support Running Bra Review

I used to think that since I wasn't especially gifted in the boob department it didn't matter what sports bra I wore.I found this bra on sale and went for it since I like CW-X stuff. This bra is awesome.I don't ever notice I have it on it is so comfortable. It doesn't have a bulky bottom band that gets in the way of swinging arms, and the racerback design is minimal so that it doesn't get in the way of my scapulae. It offers great support too, but I am a 32 A and don't need much.My only complaint is that it takes forever to dry, but not any more time than my other sports bras.

CW-X Women's Xtra Support Running Bra Review

CW-X Women's Xtra Support Running Bra

Sports bra technology has sure come a long way from the "Jog Bra" of the late 70's.This bra makes the most of the new fabrics and support systems.I was skeptical of how much support I'd get from this bra, because it just didn't look very supportive (i.e. doesn't have 14 hook and eye fasteners like my Enell bras!!), but I thought I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did. It's a great no-bounce, no-chafe high impact bra.

The only criticism I have is that it's a pull-over, which is a #@$*# pain when you're sweaty, and the back slide hook can only be fastened behind your back, so beware if you have shoulder issues (however, I've had shoulder surgery, and with some practice, I've been able to fasten it with reasonable ease).

I wear the 38D, which apparently runs a little bit big, as I wear a 42D or DD in a regular bra.I couldn't say if this is true of the smaller sizes also.

It does give a bit of the "mono boob" effect, though not nearly so much as an Enell. Moving Comfort's Maia bra gives more separation plus a lot of support if you're worried about that sort of thing.

Coolmax/Lycra tricot fabric with Healtha+ mesh front panels provide moisture wicking and breathability for added comfort.

A stretch mesh internal venting channel under the bust provides breathability and moisture evaporation. Other features include a wide stretch band for extra support.Fabrics

About Lycra and Coolmax
The genius at the heart of CW-X is an obedience to the structure of the body, made possible by two extraordinary fibers: Lycra and Coolmax. Coolmax moves moisture instantaneously from the body out to the fabric's outer surface, where it evaporates at twice the speed of cotton. So with CW-X Conditioning Wear, you remain cool at even the highest temperatures. When less energy goes toward cooling the body, more energy is left to help you excel. Lycra, on the other hand, possesses the unique ability to stretch yet retain its shape.
